Psalms, 122

0. A Song of Ascents. Of David.

1. I was glad when they said to me, "Let us go to the house of the LORD!"

2. Our feet have been standing within your gates, O Jerusalem!

3. Jerusalem, built as a city which is bound firmly together,

4. to which the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, as was decreed for Israel, to give thanks to the name of the LORD.

5. There thrones for judgment were set, the thrones of the house of David.

6. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! "May they prosper who love you!

7. Peace be within your walls, and security within your towers!"

8. For my brethren and companions' sake I will say, "Peace be within you!"

9. For the sake of the house of the LORD our God, I will seek your good.

Isaiah 2:3 - And many peoples will come, and will say, Come, we climb to the Mount of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob, that we may teach us their ways, and we walk in their paths; and from Jerusalem the word of the Lord. " This verse relates to the joy of worshiping God in one place, and how people will gather in Jerusalem to learn the word of the Lord.

Psalm 135:21 - "Blessed be the Lord since Zion, who dwells in Jerusalem. Praise the Lord." This verse relates to the honor of worshiping God in the temple in Jerusalem, which is a place of blessing and praise.

Psalm 48:2 - "Great is the Lord and very worthy of being praised, in the city of our God, in His Holy Mount." This verse also relates to the honor of worshiping God in the temple in Jerusalem, and how God is worthy of praise and worship everywhere.

Nehemiah 8:1 - "And all the people gathered as one man in the square, before the door of the waters; and they said to Ezra, the scribe, which brought the book of the law of Moses, which the Lord had commanded Israel . " This verse talks about God's people gathering in one place to hear the Word of God, which relates to the joy and importance of worshiping the Lord in unity.
